My friends Niza and Richard both expressed surprise when I told them I'm not much of a cat person. But believe it or not,
I am. Kelly suspects I don't like cats "because you don't like the competition." Hmmm... maybe :)))) As
it happens, when I was small, we had like half a dozen cats at home. I remember how my Dad used to feed them sardines. But
I've always been allergic to cats; their hair brings about tiny ugly bumps on my skin. The final straw was when a nasty and
mean cat attacked, scratched and drew blood out of me ---and that was it. Since then, when I see them felines coming, I would
go the other way. However, despite my abhorrence with felines, I don't really mind being described in cat cliches:
graceful, intelligent, elusive, survivor. Incidentally, these are supposedly qualities most men seem to appreciate. They are,
after all, animals too. (And yes, I can be catty if provoked.) Postscript: I hope to update this page often with
new photos
