Welcome to my web site on San Fernando Valley!
This website was primarily created as a course webpage for my Geography class,  a regional upper-division course on the geography of the United States, that I am taking this spring semester 2007 at the California State University in Northridge (CSUN).

Why San Fernando Valley?
My professor Yifei Sun suggested that we may  create a webpage focusing on our current home, place of birth, favorite vacation spot, or any place we are interested in --with one major criteria --that it must be a place in the United States.

Well, my place of birth is Cebu City in the Philippines--so that's obviously out of the question. And for vacation spots--it's really a tough call since I have so many favorite American cities: top of my list is New York (the city of all cities!), there's Boston (which for me is the most charming of all American cities --and I've been to almost all of them!!), and there's San Francisco, of course.  And as for interesting places, I have an even longer list... so I finally settled with a place closer to my heart, a place where I made myself a home for the past six years: the San Fernando Valley --where I now live, and work, and yes, sometimes play!

Read on and I hope you will enjoy your visit!
